Can I choose my own home inspector?

It is the buyer’s responsibility to choose a home inspector and pay for it unless otherwise negotiated. They can choose any inspector, regardless of whether they are on a list of suggested inspectors supplied by the realtor or the realtor’s broker. Our office highly recommends that our clients do their due diligence when selecting their inspector.
